Grammar AI – Fix your messages · Last updated: 21.10.2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the Grammar AI – Fix your messages application ("App") handles user information. By installing or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.
1. Information We Collect
The App does not ask you to register and does not ask for your name, email or phone number. Depending on how you use the App, the following data is processed:
- Text you submit for correction. It is sent to our server and to a third-party AI service to produce the corrected version (see "Third-Party AI Services"). We do not save the text in our database; it may remain in technical server logs for a limited time for troubleshooting.
- An anonymous account. On first launch the App creates an account with a random identifier so that our server can accept its requests. The identifier is shown on the Profile screen of the App.
- Device information and usage data: device model, operating system version, app version, screens you open, how often you check texts, and errors. We use it for analytics and to keep the App working.
- Advertising data. The App shows ads through Google AdMob, which may collect the advertising ID of your device, your IP address, device information and your interactions with ads (see "Advertising").
2. How We Use Information
We use the data only to:
- Correct the texts you submit.
- Keep the App stable, detect and fix technical issues.
- Understand general usage trends to make the App better.
- Show and measure advertising that keeps the App free.
3. Third-Party AI Services
Corrections are generated by third-party AI models. To produce a correction, the text you submit and the style you choose are sent to OpenRouter (openrouter.ai), which forwards the request to the provider of the AI model (for example Google, OpenAI, Mistral, Alibaba (Qwen) or DeepSeek). These providers process the text according to their own terms and privacy policies.
Please do not submit passwords, payment card numbers or other sensitive personal information for correction.
4. Advertising
The App is free and shows ads when you return to it. Ads are provided by Google AdMob. Google may use the advertising ID of your device and other device data to deliver ads, limit how often you see them, measure their performance and, where allowed, personalize them. How Google uses this data is described at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the App asks for your consent through Google's consent form before personalized ads are shown. You can reset or delete the advertising ID of your device, or opt out of ads personalization, in the Android settings (Google → Ads).
5. Data Retention and Deletion
We keep the anonymous account and the usage records while you use the App and delete them on request. Uninstalling the App removes the data stored on your device, but not the records on our server.
To have them deleted, write to us from any email address and include the User ID shown on the Profile screen of the App. Details are on the "Delete account & data" page linked below.
6. Children's Privacy
This App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe your child has provided such data, please contact us and we will delete it.
7. Security
Data between the App and our server is transferred over encrypted connections (HTTPS). We take reasonable steps to protect the information we process.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page.
